The Pennsylvania Association of School Resource Officers (PASRO) will continue the tradition of being Pennsylvania's leading authority on school-based policing with an emphasis on the safety of students and others in the educational environment.
PASRO is a not-for-profit organization that represents school-based law enforcement personnel. These personnel serve the law enforcement needs of schools, communities, and agencies by providing the education, support, and resources needed to build a safe and positive learning environment in Pennsylvania's schools.
We believe that partnerships between schools, students, parents, and school based policing create safer communities and a safer Pennsylvania. We believe the roles of School Resource Officers (SROs) are those of mentor, teacher, and law enforcement officer.
